Care Aides & Home Support Workers

Offering several casual/on-call positions throughout the Cowichan Valley in the rewarding field of Home Support, working with clients living in their own homes. Some duties include: assistance with personal care, housekeeping tasks, companionship, administering medication, meal preparation, transportation & accompaniment on outings/errands. RCA/nursing education an asset but not mandatory. Must be willing to work on weekends, have reliable transportation, a clear criminal record and current CPR. Shifts vary from 2 hours/day & up, so you can build up your own hours to suit your other job or personal life. We are also looking to fill 12-24 hour live-in shifts. These positions are great for people wanting to complement their existing income, those who have flexible schedules and great availability, for retired healthcare workers, or those looking to start out in this field.
