I purchased the router about four years ago and it's worked well. I've upgraded to a newer, more powerful router and this one is available. The router has DD-WRT firmware installed on it in place of the manufacturer's firmware. DD-WRT is an open source firmware built on the Linux kernel and is more secure and has more features than the original firmware. For more information on DD-WRT firmware, you can visit the website: https://dd-wrt.com/ I purchased the router from Flashrouters. Here's a link to the router on their site: https://www.flashrouters.com/homepage-best-sellers/netgear-r7000-ddwrt-router
