What I am looking for: -Unfurnished and Long Term -Detached, or semi-detached, adjacent/side-by-side, I would prefer no uppers, lowers or other similar situations, no shared air/ventilation or laundry please, I have allergies -I will consider Mill Bay, Cobble Hill, Maple Bay, Sahtlam, Chemainus, potentially Saltair. -A well-built home with modern finishings, real closets and other basic storage - I cook real food, it’s important to me, so a real kitchen with well functioning appliances, sufficient storage/counter space is a must-have, I do not need a dishwasher, generally use them for storage -2 Bedrooms or 1 Bedroom with a decent sized Den with a window. -1 or 2 bathrooms, a tub is a must for me -In-unit laundry -Privacy and some manner of outdoor space, does not need to be huge. -Parking, with easy access to the home -Dry/secure storage for things like camping gear and other seasonal ‘stuff’ would be great, and super bonus would be a covered spot for my infrared sauna, though I’ll live without it if need be. -A quiet and peaceful living environment with attentive but non-intrusive and respectful landlords, and good neighbours. -I have what I consider to be a decent budget considering I am a single occupant/tenant, but it has a limit and I'm willing to go to the top of it, depending on what is offered. Who I am: I am a mature, respectful and responsible healthcare professional with permanent full time work. My role is a hybrid position in which I see my attached clients in their homes, in the community, or in the Primary Care Provider clinics I am attached to, and I do my paperwork from a home office. I live alone and rarely have guests, when I do they are always respectful humans. I do not drink, smoke (anything), do not have or want pets, and I value a well-built home, along with peace and privacy in my live/work environment. I am friendly but keep to myself and am mindful and respectful of the people around me. I pay my rent on time, always, without exception, and maintain my home and any designated outdoor space meticulously. I am happy to provide more information along with excellent references, my current living/life situation and why I want to move, a Letter of Employment Verification, and a copy of a recent Credit Report during a viewing, and if we decide to move forward. A criminal record check is a requirement for my job every two-ish years, I can provide you with my last one (2023), and of course I carry ample tenant insurance.
