Windrose is a Robert Perry designed blue water cruiser that we've used for the past 11 years to explore the Gulf Islands. Our interests are changing and we feel it's time for someone else to enjoy her use. The pilothouse, with it's second helm, provided us warmth and comfort all year long in any type of weather. The settee in the upper salon is a great place to relax with 360° sight lines during snow, rain or sun. Being able to stay warm and dry also extended our season from the predominantly lighter winds of summer. Our favorite anchorages were also less crowded or empty when exploring from fall through spring. We trucked Windrose from the Great Lakes at purchase where she had spent 10 years on fresh water and her condition reflects that. She has received two refits, the first when she was imported from Oregon into Canada in 2002 and the second in 2013 when she arrived back in Vancouver from the Great Lakes.
