Hatching this weekend! Chicks from our free-ranging, organically-fed, breeding groups of heritage, dual-purpose chickens. Two breeds available as unsexed chicks: Delawares and Copper Marans. Delawares are the perfect homestead bird! Hens are wonderful layers of large to jumbo eggs who don't tend to go broody, and the roosters make wonderful flock companions or table birds, dressing out at 4lbs by 18 weeks. Our Copper Marans chicks are a beautiful mix of Blue, Black, and Splash feather patterns, and grow up to lay gorgeous dark chocolate-brown eggs.
