My custom shop bass is arriving in the next few weeks, so grab this amazing bass at a steal of a price. These go for $3300 new. This is a killer option order G&L Kiloton bass made in 2022 in their US Fullerton factory. The black frost with gloss black pickguard and black blocks combo just looks so great. The Kiloton has a single MFD pickup with Parrallel, Split Coil and Series switch, then a simple volume and tone control. As with all the MFD pickups, the volume knob adds another tonal option, since 75% volume is similar to standard passive basses, and as you dial up the volume you drive your preamp harder. The Parallel mode is smooth, the Split mode is remeniscent of a Jazz bass, and the Series mode is massive. Currently strung with EB Cobalt Flats as I love the feel and brightness of these strings.
