I am truly happiest when singing

Hi, I’m looking for people to sing/jam/learn from. I have been singing my whole life and I would truly happiest when I am singing and playing music. I am a mother and my kids come first, and I would like them to be around music like they are on the East Coast of Canada. I used to see people playing their fiddle in their trucks on their lunch break.My voice is a mix of Florence Welch, Emmylou Harris, Joni Mitchell, Björk. I like to cover tragically hip, Florence and the machine, Emmylou Harris, Interpol, joy division, Janelle Monet, Tom Petty, Shawn Mendes, stars…I could go on. I would love to come up with original tunes. I play a little piano, a little ukulele, a little guitar, and little drums. I’m very musical, I play mostly by ear, but I am familiar with some reading. I have been musical my whole life and singing since I can remember. I have taken lessons in the past and currently am taking voice lessons regularly. I love to perform and would love to do and would love to do more. I do try to attend jams and ideally would like to meet people to hang out and jam in our living rooms.
