$500 · Kysor Johnson Model J Bandsaw (metal)

1970's Kysor Johnson Model J Bandsaw. cut capacity listed as 10"x18". It has a new blade plus two additional unused blades. Approximate dimensions of 68″ x 38″ x 39″ high and around 800 lbs. Was picked up as a saw to fix up. There are a number of cracks in the casting that have been brazed with obvious rewiring needs and the addition of a coolant system. It is however just a little to large to fit in my shop. I have temporarily rewired it to see that it works which it does and the gearbox does not sound like there are any issues. It will need to be rewired as the old wires on it are in poor shape. The motor is a 3 phase 220V (2.7A) 440V (1.35A) 1725/1425 RPM. You will need 3phase power or a VFD or the motor can be easily replaced with a single phase motor
