I've poured the money into this truck during my ownership. Will come with a stack of receipts. Truck runs great! My friends Ford broke down and I recently towed his 34' trailer from Shawnigan Lake to Duncan. It performed strong. 6.0 engine, 4L80E transmission, HD rear end with 8 bolt axles. Pros -New drivers front wheel bearing. -New front and back U-joints for the front drive shaft. -New water pump and thermostat. -New radiator. -New fan belt and pullies. -New battery. -New break job, rotors, calipers and pads. -New break lines for the whole system (that was expensive). -New drivers window motor and cable system. -Just did a bunch of exhaust work. I asked what whole new exhaust would cost. Mechanic said "Don't bother, your system is in great shape." -I've also replaced all the front end parts with Moog greaseable fittings. Every time I change the oil, 11 grease nipples get lubed. -A few years back, new rear main seal, blower motor resister switch, oil filter adapter O rings and I'm forgetting a bunch of other maintenances but I'm sure you get the point. -Mickey Thompson rims. -Spare tire (great tread) holds air. working Jack and tools. -4*4 works great (I use it daily as my driveway is pretty intense). Cons -Passenger side rear door does not open. My mechanic told me it's most likely an easy fix. -Horn works intermittently. Mechanic told me it's most likely a loose ground wire, also said it's a quick fix. -HVAC directional controls is stuck on window defrost. So still good to drive in the winter. -Air conditioning does not work. I've had it charge up in the past and it works for a few months. -Truck goes threw 1/2 liter of oil in-between oil changes. My friends uncle has the identical truck on his farm and has over 700,000km and is still going strong. This is a great old truck that will get the job done every time! $5,000 Marko
